After completing his studies at the fine arts institution “Ecole Boulle” in Paris, Yann Le Gal spent 40 years designing housewares and furnishings, mainly for industry.
During his career he has been awarded several honors and distinctions including the prestigious “Prix Européen du Design.” One of M. Le Gal’s pieces was acquired by the Centre Pompidou for their collection.
Currently Yann Le Gal is a freelance designer in Paris, where he also lives. His approach to design emphasizes the industrial utility of the object. His houseware collection is manufactured using environmentally conscious production methods.
